Component Removal and Manual Tools
Before proceeding with the dismantling of a wreck, the first step is to inspect the vessel to recover the cargo, as well as intact weapons and components up to size 2, provided there is direct access through the designated compartments. This retrieval is performed using modular or specialized hand tools, such as the Multi-Tool equipped with its Cambio-Lite tractor beam or stripping modules, as well as their higher-capacity, autonomous equivalents: the Cambio SRT and the MaxLift Tractor Beam. All of this handling and disassembly equipment is available at specialty stores in major urban centers, including Dumper’s Depot, Tammany & Sons, CenterMass, and Platinum Bay.
Module content
Before proceeding with the physical destruction of an abandoned spacecraft’s hull, the first step in a recovery operation is to inspect the vehicle’s interior and systems. This phase allows for the recovery of high-value components before they are destroyed by stripping or disintegration tools.
Types of Recoverable Assets
During the initial inspection, two categories of assets can be identified:
- Components and Weapons: Shield generators, quantum jump modules, weapons, and other functional onboard systems.
- The cargo: The goods remaining in the hold or storage areas of the wreck.

Withdrawal Rules and Restrictions
The removal of components in the field is subject to strict rules regarding access and size:
- Maximum size: You can detach all weapons and components up to size 2.
- Physical Access: Removal requires direct access to the component, either through an external access hatch or through a component bay located inside the vehicle's passenger compartment.
- Future Use: Once removed and stored in your cargo hold, these items can be re-installed on your own ships, sold at specialty stores, or traded with other players.
Specialized Hand Tools
Component extraction and manual surface operations rely on four main tools:
- Greycat Pyro RYT Multi-Tool (Cambio-Lite SRT Module): Adapter designed for manual hull stripping and field repairs.
- Greycat Pyro RYT Multi-Tool (Tractor Beam Module): An adapter that allows you to move and position light objects with precision.
- Cambio SRT (Dedicated Tool): A standalone tool designed exclusively for stripping and repairing hulls. It has a larger RMC cartridge capacity than the Multi-Tool module.
- MaxLift Tractor Beam (Dedicated Tool): A standalone tractor beam tool manufactured by Greycat Industrial. It can handle heavier loads than the standard Multi-Tool module, making it ideal for moving SCU containers and large components.

Supply Points
These tools and their add-ons can be purchased at most equipment stores in the persistent universe, including:
- Dumper’s Depot (formerly Area18)
- Tammany & Sons (Lorville)
- CenterMass (for the MaxLift)
- Selected Platinum Bay retail locations throughout the system.
Validation exam
