First Aid Certification

Mastering diagnosis, ensuring an accurate prognosis: the first step toward interstellar medical excellence.

Welcome to the first year of the medical school program. Space is a unforgiving environment where the line between life and death is often a matter of seconds. Whether it’s sudden decompression, a ballistic injury during a ground operation, or a concussion in the midst of space combat, the first responder must act methodically, precisely, and with a cool head. This introductory-level course has no prerequisites. It is designed to teach you how to observe, diagnose, and treat. You will study the severity of injuries, the nuanced management of the risk-benefit balance for chemical agents, the expert use of the ParaMed system, and safe transport protocols for patients in a state of total incapacitation. Finally, an introduction to logistics will enable you to understand and select the appropriate hospital infrastructure or mode of transport for the given medical situation. Your academic journey begins here. Study the modules, master the concepts, and prepare for the certification exam.
